The brief Easter holiday season is upon us now and as we use it to create new memories, spending more time with family, away from school, work and every other responsibility of a routine day we look down memory lane to what this period typically looked like growing up.
Good Friday And NTA Aba Movies
During the times our television was working 😂😠Nta Aba and Nepa allowed us watch movies around Jesus's ministry and death, the most interesting one The Passion Of Christ.
This was kind of a big deal because that was probably the only time to watch those movies until the next year, a ritual created by scarcity 😤
Enjoying The Easter Season Fruits
Mmimi (pepperfruit), mango and cashew are three (3) popular fruits that have their harvest season around Easter and are usually abundant throughout the holiday.
Having them presented something to look forward to.
Travelling To Ozuitem For Easter Events
Not all Easters where spent in Aba since lots of occasions and celebrations were usually fixed around this period.
Attending those occasions was good link up with extended family members and revisiting of old bonds.
Easter These Days
As we celebrate our holiday season we enjoy the season now for what it has become, just before it becomes a tale for the future.
